Frogman Tim Cotterill Sculptures
Tim Cotterill—known to collectors as Frogman—is one of the world’s best-known bronze wildlife sculptors, celebrated for elegant, stylized frogs with luminous patinas and playful personalities. Born in Leicester, England, he began as an electrical engineering apprentice before moving into landscape design, stone masonry, and metal sculpture.

Cotterill began creating welded steel animals and birds in the 1970s, exhibiting his work through galleries, private commissions, and Sotheby’s. After moving to California in 1990, he established his Venice Beach studio and developed the bronze frog sculptures that became his signature. His work has grown to include hundreds of frog designs and variations as well as birds, koi, geckos, wall sculptures, tables, and monumental pieces.
